Well, ready to start another working week? No, me neither.
I’m heading to London this week for a mix of business and pleasure, but the highlight will definitely be my evening with Lucy Williams of Fashion Me Now – Eeeekk.
The gorgeous and stylish Lucy Williams is the name behind one of my favourite blogs - Fashion Me Now.
Lucy’s killer style causes me (and 82k follwers on Instagram) to repeatedly stalk to see how she wears this season's must haves. Having started out as a fashion assistant at Sheerluxe.com (I used to write for them too) and InStyle magazine before becoming assistant fashion and beauty editor for trends and innovation advisory Stylus, Lucy is now full-time blogger, freelance writer and brand consultant. So I’m getting to smooze with her on Wednesday night at a really cool hotel in London. But I'm interested to hear her share her story of how she turned her personal mood board (created just out of Uni) into the hugely successful, stunningly shot, stylish blog it is today. So check back next week for all the gossip.
But before I slope off I’m desperate to get my hands on this A-List Rosé.
Apparently the celebrity wine collaboration of the summer has finally arrived in the UK, and M&S is the only high street department store stocking it (nice one). Nine little letters on the back of the bottle set this rose wine apart from other fruits of the Provence grape harvest: Jolie-Pitt. The Miraval Rose 2014 was produced at the southern French estate of Chateau Miraval – the property of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. In a joint venture with established vintner Marc Perrin, the back label even reads "bottled by Jolie-Pitt and Perrin." - now there’s something to raise a glass to.
The wine, in a bottom-heavy, champagne-like bottle, is the perfect summer drink (would look dandy in your picnic basket) and set to be the prefect summer gift. And simply because it’s Ange & Brad I feel I absolutely have to. I’ve just clicked ‘order’ – so fingers crossed there’ll be some in stock. Anyone tried it yet?
PS: I just watched Yogi Bear The Movie last week and almost typed ‘pic-a-nic’ basket!
Don’t know why I like this upbeat, summer-ready tune (it’s a bit loungy and might be good to dance to) but it’s a current favourite.
Enjoy your week xo xo
